Project at a Glance
This 5 kW hybrid solar system in Mijas was designed and installed by KiDi Solar as a complete turnkey project. Based on the client’s electricity bills and actual energy consumption, our team calculated the required system size and assessed the available roof area to design an efficient solar and battery solution.
The system consists of 10 LONGi 500W solar panels, a Growatt MOD 5000TL3-XH three-phase hybrid inverter and a 5 kWh battery. The installation included an aluminium mounting structure, roof waterproofing at all fixing points, DC and AC cabling, electrical protection equipment and a smart energy meter.
After installation, the system was fully configured, tested and commissioned. We set up the monitoring application for the client, allowing real-time control of solar production, household consumption, battery charging and discharging, and energy exported to or imported from the grid.
KiDi Solar also completed the certification and legalisation of the installation and assisted the client with arranging a new electricity contract for surplus solar energy compensation. The project includes two free solar panel cleaning services during the first year and ongoing remote system monitoring and technical support from KiDi Solar.
Installation Process
The installation was carried out by the KiDi Solar team following the technical design prepared for the property.

Property & Roof Assessment
The available installation area, roof configuration and electrical system were assessed before the final photovoltaic layout was prepared.

Panel mounting and DC wiring
Longi 500W are fixed with certified mounting and wired to the inverter string inputs.

Inverter and battery integration
The Growatt MOD 5000TL3-XH and — are connected, protected and configured for hybrid control.

Commissioning and handover
We test production, backup behaviour and monitoring, then hand over the 5 kW Hybrid Solar + 5 kWh Battery system.
